The African elephant’s the world’s largest mammal on land and they play a vital role in maintaining harmony in the ecology. These elephants ingest plants and fruits and they can walk for miles where they can excrete the fruit seeds in some very fertile dung piles.┬áThis is how new plants can grow in different areas and 90 different species actually rely on the elephants for propagation.

The hardworking creatures also dig holes to expose underground springs which allows smaller animals easy access to water during drier seasons.

See the majestic creatures with your own eyes on our Botswana Cape Town group tour.
